Sr. Technical Development Engineer at M. Holland

As a Senior Technical Development Engineer for M. Holland, Brian Rubin advises clients on technical and material inquiries, provides on-site and remote troubleshooting services, and assesses a wide range of manufacturing processes. In this position, Brian collaborates closely with account managers and suppliers to deliver material, design, and processing consultation and training. He also connects clients with M. Holland’s laboratory services, including quantifiable and qualifiable material testing.

Brian has 23+ years of plastics industry experience. After starting his career at PolyOne, where he earned several technical service awards, Brian served in several sales, management and technical positions. As a Director for the Plastics Analytical Laboratory for Color Science/Modified Plastics, Brian was responsible for all quality and engineering functions, including execution of A2LA lab accreditation. Brian also served as Technical Sales Engineer for Milacron, where he oversaw new business development activities in strategic application development and account management. Prior to joining M. Holland in 2021, Brian was the Western Regional Business Development Manager for SGS (Société Générale Surveillance), a Swiss multinational company providing inspection, verification, testing and certification services. Brian served as the liaison between existing western regional customers and the lab, with a special focus on OEM development.

Brian earned an associate degree in Plastics Engineering from Ruppin College of Plastics in Kfar HaEmek Israel and an associate degree in Quality Assurance Management from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. He is also a black belt in Jiu Jitsu.
