Principal Packaging Engineer at Medtronic - Sustainability Development Center

Nathan Vanderschaaf is a Principle Packaging Engineer at Medtronic and graduated with his B.S in packaging from Michigan state University. Since joining Medtronic 8 years ago, he has had different roles focusing on sterile barrier packaging design for new product development, manufacturing, and sustaining projects.  Currently, Nathan is part of the sustainability center at Medtronic helping drive sustainable packaging solutions for the company. He is currently the regulatory lead for the Kilmer Innovation in Packaging (Kiip) sustainability end of life group (SEOL) and is a member of ASTM D20 (plastics), and E60 (Sustainability).
