Principal Product Development Engineer at Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision

Gene has over 30 years’ experience working in the medical device industry; including devices used in drug delivery, endoscopic surgery,  and cataract and refractive eye surgery.  His background is in plastic component development, tooling qualification, and product validation.  Gene is a plastics processing SME and enjoys training and mentoring fellow engineers and suppliers in Scientific Injection Molding and Tooling Qualifications.  Gene currently leads J&J Surgical Visions’ Plastics and Tooling Group in development of new injection molding tooling, cost improvement projects and SME consultation for production issues at external manufacturers.
